SYSTEMS CHANGE
Systems change means addressing the causes, rather than the symptoms, of a societal issue.
POLICIES The rules, regulations, and strategies that guide actions in various sectors and levels of government, business, and NFPs. |
PRACTICES The habits and actions of communities, networks, and nations operating collectively across society, as opposed to policies that guide them. |
RESOURCE FLOWS How money, people, knowledge, and other assets are allocated and distributed. |
RELATIONSHIPS & CONNECTIONS The strength of connections and quality of communication among system players, including those with differing histories and viewpoints. |
POWER DYNAMICS The distribution of decision-making, authority, and formal and informal influence between and among individuals and organisations. |
|
MENTAL MODES These are the habits of thought – deeply held beliefs and assumptions and ways of operating – that are taken for granted and influence how we all think and what we do. |
