Highbury Whānau Centre
We provide specialised youth/rangatahi support services by working with young people and their whānau. Our Social Services division has after-school programmes, holiday programmes, junior/youth sports, Te reo Māori class, alternative education, a youth worker, psychologist mentor and so much more.

The R. Tucker Thompson is a tall ship based in the Bay of Islands, operated as a not-for-profit, we take Northland’s young people on life-changing 7-day voyages. Over summer, we operate daily sailing trips, profits from our tourism activities are used to fund our youth development voyages.

Work Ready Kāpiti
Work Ready Kāpiti (WRK) is a charitable trust with a passion for encouraging Kāpiti rangatahi to get work-ready. We support local rangatahi aged 15 to 24 years old to get work-ready. We also work alongside local businesses and employers to encourage them to get involved, provide placement opportunities and support them as young people enter the workforce.
Workbridge
Workbridge is the largest New Zealand-owned employment service for people with a disability or health condition. We support jobseekers with disabilities or health conditions, as well as employers and workplaces across the country, with more than 75 employment consultants in 22 centres nationwide.
YMCA Mid and South Canterbury
The Y has been making positive things happen for our region’s rangatahi since 1917. All our programmes and services are strengths-and evidence-based according to the principles of Positive Youth Development and are provided at no or minimal cost to participants. YMCA Mid and South Canterbury offers three youth employment support services, Y•Futures, Drive2Work, and The Y’s NEET Youth Service.
Youth Inspire
Our programmes help rangatahi aged15- 24 learn skills that will help them get a job and keep a job. We run a series of workshops to teach the skills employers are looking for and those you need to succeed! We then partner with a variety of local businesses from mechanics to cafes for work experience opportunities which give youth the opportunity to put the skills they have learned into practice.
