Pip is an experienced educator and holds qualifications in both Education and Psychology. She spent many years teaching at primary and secondary levels and developed and taught foundation skills programmes with rangatahi in tertiary education.  She has worked for the WDCs supporting to support the transformation of tertiary education in various roles and most recently led a career pathways project for the Food and Fibre sector, developing a framework that focused on illuminating career opportunities across multiple industries by mapping transferable skills.

Pip continues to support young people to transition from education to employment within her Nelson community and is an active Board member of various Educational Trusts supporting youth to discover their strengths and articulate the existing skills they have to offer the world.  She is excited to be able to support YEA in realising their goals and vision as part of the Stewardship group.
